DJ Ical, start from a passion of loving Music, start his music movement from a Band and then In 2003 he start collecting records and start playing at the club, after that he became resident DJ at Club Monaco (2004), Baby Face (2005), Dizzy Lounge (2006), Urban Lounge (2008) and now he doing resident DJ at Immigrant.
He made to the top 12 of Heineken Thirst Studio DJ Competition in 2006. He is chosen as Best House DJ of the year 2009 of Ravelex Electronic Dance Music Awards (REDMA).
In 2010 he start to create music and do remix, the music can describe as a blend of Acid, Electronica, Techno, Disco, and House Music influences.
He performed in various party in Indonesia, from side of a beach to the top of the mountain. Indra7, a heavy metal enthusiast and member of one of Jakarta’s well respected Techno label “Microchip”. With some of his friends from the underground scene, he created Jakarta Techno Militia as the anti-thesis of pop chart dance music. He used to play guitar with his electronic band, Media Distorsi, yet due to “different perspective of music and thoughts” with his partner, he decided to freeze the band for an indefinite period of time.
He describes his musical style as anything from House, Deep House, and Techno; with influences from big names such as Sasha, Carl Craig, Aril Brikha, Underworld, and some of Indonesia’s great DJs.
In 2009 & 2010, he was nominated as Techno DJ of The Year from Ravelex Electronic Dance Music Award (www.ravelex.net). And in 2012, he won the title for REDMA Techno DJ of The Year 2011 & got rank #34 for REDMA TOP 50 DJs.
