It all began in 2012 when Alex and Jeia met in Bali – Indonesia.
Alex Grow up in America with the love of Hip-Hop, Rap & R&B, while Jeia Grow up in Indonesia with a total different style, Rock.
Both with the passion of music they decided to create something together. They come out with the name AVVE (pronounced: a-veh)
AVVE came up from ave as in the Roman salutation to salute Caesars and persons of authority, and they wanted their crowd to also hail to the music using that salutation

First They were thinking to build a band, but in 2014 DJs were on the rise and it was beneficial to use that wave and ride it. So they learned how to DJ from scratch and dove into the electronic music scene head first. They rose so fast. They would have not gotten such exposure in such a short time if they went for the Rock band.

In term of role model Alex was inspired by writer/producer songs Calvin Harris, Justin Timberlake, The Weeknd, Kanye West, Jay-Z, Ashton Kutcher and in term of music; Jack U, Skrillex and Diplo.

Jeia’s was inspired Timbaland, Trent Reznor (producers who are also multi-instrumentalists).
In terms of DJing, Swedish House Mafia, Hardwell, Calvin Harris, Skrillex, Jack U.

In 2014 they come up with some original remix, Alive With You, Zion and Wildfire. They also made some Bootleg, Nicki Minaj – Anaconda (AVVE Festival Bootleg), Sick Individuals – Lost & Found (AVVE Bootleg) and Hardwell & Joey Dale ft. Luciana – Arcadia (AVVE Remix)

In 2015 they come up with, Pull It Back & Reload (Marlboro MOVE Official Anthem for Djakarta Warehouse Project 2015), Save Me Now Remixes, DJ Sammy ft. Yanou & Do – Heaven (AVVE Remix) and Mark Ronson ft. Bruno Mars – Le Uptown Funk (AVVE Bootleg)

Since then they performed at Indonesia’s biggest dance music festival Djakarta Warehouse Project along with Laidback Luke, Steve Angello, Skrillex, and many more. They then proceeded to do live set at B2Backroom at Spinach Records by DJ Riri and also Hard Rock FM’s Paranoia.

They also do some TV shows in B2Backroom, RIRI.TV, The Remix, Breakout and Berpacu Dalam Melodi on NET.TV and on radio, KIS FM, Medan (interview) and Paranoia, Jakarta (live set)

With over 10,700 followers all across they Social Network AVVE
putting influence to good use via additional philanthropic efforts.
And having some projects and a second EP under their belt, AVVE is not showing any hint of slowing down.
